SPARTA- Jon E. Naumann, age 84 of Sparta and formerly of Sheboygan died Friday July 12, 2024. Jon was born January 22, 1940, in Sheboygan to the late Erwin and Ethel (Merrill) Naumann.  Jon was united in marriage to Audrey Ohm on July 6, 1963, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  He graduated from North High School and then earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering from UW-Madison.  Jon worked for various businesses for 20 years prior to becoming a pastor with the Assemblies of God until his retirement.  During Jon’s ministry, he had a passion and a gift of mentoring other men.  Jon and Audrey purchased the former Heckman Cheese building and started a woodworking business following retirement.

Survivors include his loving wife Audrey of 61 years, children Debra (Jeffrey) Wiarek of Sheboygan, Glen (Lori) Naumann of Sheboygan Falls, Steven (Aimeé) Naumann of Sheboygan, five grandchildren Marvin (Amanda) Kauger, Tanya (Al) Reimer, Rachel (Shane) Ehren, Eric Naumann and Rebecca Naumann four great-grandchildren Dmetrian, Damien, Bradley and Vivienne five foster great-grandchildren and a sister Louise Mueller.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris Green.

A celebration of life for Jon Naumann will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024 at River’s Harvest Church. 1001 Quincy St., Onalaska, WI. Regular church service will be at 10 a.m. and celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m.  All guests are asked to bring a dish to pass.

Pastor Andy Le Febre will officiate.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Jon’s name.
