Donald R. Fletcher, age 75, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully December 10, 2024. Born on December 8, 1949, to Wallace and Dorothy (Gilson) Fletcher.
A lifelong resident of Tomah, Donald was a proud graduate of Tomah High School. After graduation, he began a long and fulfilling career in sales at the Tomah Cash Store. His natural charm and friendliness made him not just a favorite amongst customers but also a cherished colleague and friend.
In his spare time, Don enjoyed bowling, billiards, softball and archery. He was also involved with the Wisconsin Conservation Congress.
Donald’s presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his legacy is one of love, laughter, and friendship. He leaves behind a family who adores him and a community that will deeply feel his absence.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Renee, his children, Tracy Bolterman of Racine, WI and Scott Fletcher of Tomah, WI, his brother, Wallace Fletcher of Elk City, OK, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Sr. and Dorothy, his sister, Judy, and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Warrens, WI. Pastor David Weber will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don’s memory may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or Tomah Hospice Touch.
