SPARTA - Dianna M. (Johnson) Brandt (83), of Sparta passed away (June 12, 2022). Dianna was born April 2, 1939 to Melvin (Pete) and Evelyn (Van Riper) Johnson in the town of Burns.
Dianna is survived by her children, Dawn Brandt, Dale (Debi) Brandt, John (Charmaine) Brandt of Sparta WI, Denise (Larry) Smith of Georgetown, KY,; grandchildren Lacy Velasco, Faith (Eddie) Sosa, Crimson Hendricks, Calgary (Virgil) Miller, Jordan Brandt, Jacob (Chelsea) Brandt, Jahni Sue Brandt, Tanner Brandt, and Joshua Cleveland all of Sparta, WI, Jade (Mitchell) Solace and Megean (Matt) Denney of KY; 16 great grandchildren; Chuckie Van Riper (cousin); her sister Audrey Bakkestuein and, brother Lyle Johnson, brother in law Laurel (Jo Ann) Brandt, sister in law Laura Johnson, special friend Barbara Yahnke and many other relatives and friends.
Dianna was preceded in death by her husband Norbert W. Brandt, daughter Diane L. Hendricks, her parents, her brother Melvin Johnson, her brother in laws Jerome Bakkestuein, Bernard O’Neil and sister in law Ramona O’Neil.
Dianna married Norbert W. Brandt December 14, 1957. They farmed for many years. They enjoyed riding their BMW’s on several trips they took. Dianna loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dianna crotched many baby blankets and made many quilts for her family. Dianna had a heart for helping others. Dianna loved to travel.

A private graveside ceremony will be held with Larry Smith officiating. The Coulee Region Cremation Group assisted the family with arrangements.
