Three years after enduring a winless season, the rebirth and rise of Cashton football has reached a status the program hasn’t seen in over 20 years.
The Tomah cross country teams played host Tuesday, October 5 when they held their annual invite at Hiawatha Golf Course on the north end of town. Only three schools participated with Tomah — Necedah, New Lisbon and Reedsburg — as a couple of others dropped out for various reasons.
Powered by top-10 performances from both senior Kimberlee Downing and junior Margarita Silva, the Brookwood girls’ cross country team thrived at their latest meet.
